Here is a healthy walnut and blueberry smoothie recipe. This makes for a power smoothie with lots of antioxidants.
Yield: 1 serving
1/4 cup blueberries, frozen
1/4 cup fresh-squeezed orange juice
1/4 cup sliced banana, frozen
1/4 cup organic nonfat yogurt or silken tofu
1/2 tablespoon chopped walnuts
1/4 teaspoon chopped fresh mint
Preparation ( 5 minutes):
Combine all of the ingredients in a blender and purée.
Pour into a tall glass and enjoy.
