Good oral hygiene is essential for optimal health.  Daily flossing, twice daily brushing and yearly dental check-ups will help maintain oral health.

To effectively brush your teeth, buy a toothbrush with a small head to easily reach all parts of your mouth, teeth and gums. It is best to brush your teeth twice a day for two minutes each brushing.

Note: According to the American Dental Association, it is best to replace your toothbrush every 3-4 months.  Frayed and worn bristles don’t clean as well and make your teeth more vulnerable to decay.
