For many people eating has very little to do with hunger. Often, we eat out of boredom, for entertainment, as a reward, or to comfort ourselves.
Call to Action:
Learn to be aware of why you’re eating and then ask yourself, “Am I really hungry?” Do this before you eat and then again while you’re eating. Using food as an antidepressant is very costly on both your wallet and your health!
Old wives test: “If you’re not hungry enough to eat an apple, then you’re not hungry!”
