Diet and exercise are health factors dependent on each other. As we age, the more we need to move and remain active. The reasons are two-fold: 1) the older we are we tend to put on excess body fat, especially around the middle, and 2) muscle mass diminishes as we age. So what can you do?
Call to Action:
- Increase your muscle mass because muscle burns more calories than fat. Be a calorie burner rather than a calorie storer!
- Stay active because movement burns excess body fat and one of the best ways to decrease belly fat is movement!
