Some causes of people becoming overweight at a more rapid pace than ever before are: a) eating out more frequently, b) too much snacking on high calorie and low nutrient foods, c) little or no physical activity, d) fewer home-cooked meals, and e) increased time in front of the TV and computer.
Call to Action:
a) Instead of eating out, meet your friend(s) at a park and take a walk together.
b) Instead of snacking on high calorie and low nutrient foods, eat fresh fruit, cut up veggies, or a small handful of nuts and seeds.
c) Vow to do some physical activity for at least 10 minutes EVERY day.
d) Make a home-cooked meal in lieu of take-out or making a meal of overly processed foods.
e) Decrease the time you spend in front of the TV and/or computer by 30 minutes (or more) today!
The more of these you combine in the course of ONE day, the quicker you’ll slim down and achieve weight loss.
