  • Incorporate these whole grains into your diet: amaranth, barley, brown rice, buckwheat, bulgar, kamut, millet, oats, quinoa, spelt, wheat germ, whole wheat, wild rice.  Replace the “white” counterparts, such as white rice or pasta, with a whole grain choice.

  • For example, instead of putting ground beef or turkey in your chili try adding some millet.
