Call to Action:
- During the week, keep a running list of food items you run out of or know you’ll need to replenish (fresh fruits and vegetables) when you go to the grocery store and then shop only for items on your list.
- Make a list of next week’s meals you plan to make – get input from other family members. This helps to have them on board. 😆
Note: Keep in mind your calendar as you plan meals for next week. If there is a meeting, event, or activity in the evening, plan accordingly by preparing that meal ahead of time so it can be ready easily. Leftovers are great when you don’t have time to prepare a meal.
The goal is to eliminate stress and the need to resort to take-out or fast-food that is typically unhealthy.
