Fad diets come and go, primarily because in the long run, they are not very successful. Most fad diets claim they’ll work without the need for you to exercise, reduce your caloric intake, or much of anything else, except to purchase their expensive product. Usually fad diets require you to restrict eating certain foods and sometimes most or all of an entire food group.

Don’t believe the fad diet claims–in the long run they just don’t work.
With a fad diet you may lose weight quickly but most of the time you end up gaining it all back and then some. The only permanent way to lose unwanted weight and keep it off, is reduce calories, eat mostly healthy foods, and become more physically active. That’s it! There really aren’t any exceptions, sorry!
