This dish is really very good and filling requiring very little work.
2 cups green lentils
1 cup brown rice
1 1/2 tsp. Celtic sea salt
7 cups water
Place all ingredients in a large sauce pan.
Turn heat to high until the water begins to boil.
Turn heat down to low to med-low, cover pan and simmer about 45 minutes or until almost all of the water is absorbed.
Stir, and serve with a fresh salad.
Optionally, lemon juice can be stirred in to give it some extra flavor. Often we will forget the lemon juice.
